Bloomberg TV
In my student job, as the in-house creative for Berlin based men's fashion start-up OUTFITTERY, I was responsible for every kind of content the company wanted to put out there.
So i created a little stunt for them, which got Bloomberg TV, based out of Washington D.C. interested:
Berlin's most famous night club Berghain is known worldwide for its ruthless door policy – and its close link to the "look" of potential clubbers. This makes it the object of desire for international party-goers and an urban fashion myth for the rest. What if OUTFITTERY could dress the very traditional and uptight Bloomberg reporter in a look that would get him into Berghain? See for yourself:
A successful little experiment...
... that obviously wasn't without controversy.
The sub-culture that calls Berghain their "home" was not amused about the outsider trying to get into their realm with "cheap tricks" as some internet comments suggested. Let alone him catching a tiny video fragment from the inside of the club (the no photo policy is extremely strict).
Nevertheless though, for OUTFITTERY it ticked all the boxes of success. The start-up was featured in US-American Daytime television, which got them huge exposure.
